Vandoorne not worried about how McLaren are doing

Former McLaren driver Stoffel Vandoorne has insisted he is not keeping an eye on his former team's progress now he is at Mercedes. The Belgian driver was axed by the Woking-side at the end of last season, with Lando Norris taking Vandoorne's place as a McLaren Formula 1 driver. However, Mercedes offered Vandoorne a role as its simulation driver, as well as representing the Silver Arrows in this season's Formula E Championship. Vandoorne was part of an underwhelming 2018 season for McLaren, being outperformed by his then team-mate, Fernando Alonso in virtually every race on the F1 calendar.
