Ricciardo to wear "funky" and "artistic" helmet at Renault
Daniel Ricciardo has promised a "funky" and "artistic" helmet design in time for the 2019 season, as he prepares for his debut season at Renault. Ricciardo announced last summer that he would be moving from Red Bull - ending his long spell there - and would be joining Renault. This means loads of things for the Aussie, but perhaps most importantly for him, he gets to design his own helmet. In the pre-season tests in Barcelona, Ricciardo drove with a multi-coloured helmet design that had "test" written across it.
