Alonso: "Being at home a waste of time"
After getting a new gig as a McLaren test driver for the Formula 1 team, Fernando Alonso explained that nothing is worse for him than to sit at home and waste his time, even though he's currently doing a lot of different things besides F1. The Spaniard, of course, retired from F1 at the end of 2018, although he was quick to add he wouldn't be against a return one day. The 37-year-old now does a lot of endurance racing, having won his maiden 24 Hours of Le Mans last June and the 24 Hours of Daytona earlier this year. He'll also represent McLaren in the Indy 500 this season, but apart from all of this, he still took on the testing role for the Woking-based company's F1 team. "At the...
