With Calderon, Formula 2 gets its first female racer!

Tatiana Calderon will graduate this season to the FIA Formula 2 Championship, becoming the first woman to race in the junior series' recent era. The 25-year-old Colombian - who is also a development driver in F1 for Alfa Romeo/Sauber - completes the BWT Arden line-up that will also include 2018 GP3 champion Anthoine Hahne. Wolff lauds Calderon, but sees superlicence rules as obstacle "I’m very excited to compete in the FIA F2 Championship with Team BWT Arden in technical partnership with HWA," commented Calderon who competed with Arden in GP3 in 2016.
