Ferrari making a ‘statement’ with F1 test pace - Ricciardo

Daniel Ricciardo says Ferrari is the only team that has “stood out” from pre-season testing and feels it is “creating a statement” ahead of the new Formula 1 campaign.  Ferrari has dominated both days of the opening pre-season test in Barcelona so far, with Sebastian Vettel finishing well clear of the field on the first day before new recruit Charles Leclerc topped the times on Tuesday.  The Italian team is looking to bounce back from successive title defeats at the hands of Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton and Ricciardo reckons Ferrari is making a statement of intent by hitting the ground running.  5774263478001 CrashTV:  “Ferrari have come out strong,” Ricciardo said. ...
