Williams set to also miss second day of F1 testing
Williams has admitted it is unlikely to run its new Formula 1 car at Barcelona testing until Wednesday. Williams revealed last week that the planned shakedown of its FW42 had been cancelled due to time constraints. On Sunday it confirmed that its new car would not be ready in time for the opening day of running, currently taking place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. On Monday it posted a further update, revealing that its FW42 is not expected to be ready until mid-way through the opening test. “It is looking more likely than not that we will now not be in a position to run on track until Wednesday at the earliest,” said Deputy Team Principal Claire Williams. “This...
