Ricciardo's arrival encouraged Renault staff to skip holidays

Daniel Ricciardo moving from Red Bull Racing to Renault F1 team encouraged the staff on the French team to skip their holidays this time around, according to managing director Cyril Abiteboul. It was announced during last season's summer break that the Aussie would be teaming up with Renault at the end of the season, and as he prepares for his first season with the French manufacturer, Abiteboul has revealed some staff members cut their Christmas break short by the knowlegde they'd have Ricciardo in 2019.
