Race against time for Renault to make testing

Renault managing director Cyril Abiteboul says there are no guarantees that Renault will have their car ready for testing in Barcelona.  Testing is set to begin in Spain on Monday, but in a bid to maximise development time for its engineers, Renault held off finalising the specification of their RS19 for as long as possible. As a result, the timeframe for bulding the car had to be shorterned, and some parts are still not ready. Renault launched the RS19 on Tuesday, but were forced to use their 2018 chasis with 2019 front and rear wings as the car wasn't ready.
