Azerbaijan confirmed until 2023

It has been confirmed that Azerbaijan will continue to host Formula 1 Grand Prix until 2023 after race promoters signed a new deal. Baku has been on the race calendar since 2017 with Daniel Ricciardo and Lewis Hamilton taking the victories on those occasions and it has provided some stunning moments, including the memorable clash between Sebastian Vettel and Hamilton. There was a chance the race would not be held in 2020 with promoters trying to work a better deal but they have now put pen to paper on a deal with Liberty Media which will see the race on the calendar until 2023.
