Alonso aiming for more success in different disciplines
F1, Le Mans, WEC, Daytona, what can’t Fernando Alonso do? He seems to be a man that can drive anything, just put him behind the wheel and he’ll get you the win. The 24 hours of Daytona was his latest triumph, driving superbly to lead his team to the win. We all know his real aim is the Triple Crown, but after the Daytona race, he told RACER: “It’s not part of the Triple Crown, but if I win Indianapolis this will be the Quadruple Crown!” Alonso is obviously focussing on the Indy 500, but admits that considering other disciplines is not something he’s going to rule out.
