McLaren reveal vision for Formula 1 in 2050

McLaren have presented their interpretation of how Formula 1 will evolve into the beyond the current era by publishing on their website a futuristic feature report laying out their vision for the sport in 2050. The report sums up work on the project by McLaren Applied Technologies with inspiration from fans, setting 'out the ultimate vision for grand prix racing three decades from now.' The report borrows from science-fiction and predicts: '500 km/h inductively charged electric racing machines, onboard advanced AI co-pilot, shapeshifting active aerodynamics, thrilling circuits [with] fierce banking and strategy support via esports pathfinders.'
