McLaren's vision of the future includes AI & electric power

McLaren have released a vision for the future of Grand Prix racing, which they believe could come about by the year 2050. McLaren, through their Applied Technology group, have released a whitepaper of what they believe Formula 1 could become over the next thirty years. Using a prototype car called the MCLE, they believe that the core concept of four wheels, rear wheel drive & a human driver will still be there by then but there will be huge changes elsewhere. Active Aerodynamics: The MCLE includes sidepods that expand and contract.
