Gasly: If I can't win then beating Max is my goal
Pierre Gasly is treating his promotion to Red Bull as an opportunity to shine on the Formula 1 stage, speaking ahead of the forthcoming season in which he will share a garage with Max Verstappen the young Frenchman is adamant he is no number two driver. Although at 22 Gasly is a year older than Verstappen, the Dutchman is already a grand prix winner and de facto team leader having comprehensively beating Renault bound Daniel Ricciardo, his teammate since he was promoted from Toro Rosso in 2016.
