Elkann: Binotto promoted in accordance with Arrivabene
Ferrari Chairman John Elkann has finally spoken on the big changes within his team, revealing for the first time that Mattia Binotto replacing Maurizio Arrivabene as team principal is part of a masterplan to win the world title as soon as possible, a promotion which the latter was well aware of. Gazzetta dello Sport journos broke the story of unrest within the team, reporting first and almost single-handedly about the feud between Binotto and Arrivabene which the latter dubbed 'fake news' which as it turns out wasn't.
