Ferrari aim to run 2019 car ahead of testing

Ferrari is set to give their 2019 car a run out ahead of the first pre-season test in Barcelona. The Italian team will use their first of two promotional sessions permitted per season to shakedown the new car a day before testing gets underway. According to Autosport, Ferrari will run the internally branded '670' car prior to the first test session of the season. Ferrari is set to launch the 2019 car on February 15th at the team's headquarters in Maranello. Testing is usually conducted during these promotional events but limited and defined as "purely for marketing or promotional purposes" with running capped at 100km per event.
