Hamilton 'buys $40million Manhattan penthouse'

Lewis Hamilton has purchased a $40million penthouse in Manhattan, according to the Wall Street Journal, the property sitting just one block away from another home that the five-time world champion is thought to own in the plush Tribeca neighbourhood of New York City. The Journal claims that Hamilton has purchased the living space at 70 Vestry Street – a building part-owned by NFL star quarterback Tom Brady, who was present at last year's Monaco Grand Prix. Hamilton's previous dip into the New York property market was a $43million purchase of a five-bedroom property at 433 Greenwich Street – literally around the corner from his new pad.
