Racing Point’s problem with efficiency
Having survived a financial crunch and near collapse in 2018, Racing Point Formula 1 team need to find a way to stay efficient or risk not learning from their hard-learnt lessons, says team boss Otmar Szafnauer. In 2018, the team were taken over after a consortium led by Lawrence Stroll brought all the assets from Force India which was put under administration. Lack of money meant that there were delays in upgrading their packages, but funding from Stroll and his company helped them close the season strongly.
