Jackie Stewart praises Verstappen

Jackie Stewart has praised Max Verstappen for the way in which he has established himself at the pinnacle of motorsport. Verstappen won two Grand Prix’s in 2018 and was so close to a third but was denied by a collision with Esteban Ocon. Speaking to F1 Fan Voice Stewart admitted the sport needed revitalizing saying: "The Grand Prix Sport needs fresh air.” Verstappen became the youngest driver to compete in Formula 1 at the 2015 Australian Grand Prix and the Dutchman has only kicked on from there.
