Bird targeting podium return in Marrakesh
Marrakesh ePrix – Virgin Racing's Sam Bird has set his sights on his first podium of the season when Formula E returns for the Marrakesh ePrix. Following a tricky opening round of the season – won by BMW Andretti's Antonio Felix da Costa – the Virgin Racing team left the Ad Diriyah ePrix without any points. Sam Bird and Robin Frijns started from the back of the grid after both were disqualified from qualifying due to exceeding the maximum allowable power output, finishing the race in eleventh and twelfth respectively.
