Engine manufacturers don't want competition

Ross Brawn believes engine manufacturers do not want the competition when it comes to providing engines. At the moment, Mercedes, Honda, Ferrari and Renault all provide engines and Mercedes boss Toto Wolff said: "Four manufacturers are enough." Brawn has made it clear there will not be new manufacturers in 2021 when the new rules come in, however, the door is left ajar following a compromise. "The drawbridge is up, today's engine manufacturers do not want a new opponent,” Brawn said to the official Formula 1 website. “However, we have found a compromise.
