Billy Monger collects award at Sports Personality

Billy Monger was presented with the Helen Rollason Award at the BBC Sports Personality Awards in Birmingham. He was presented the award by his idol Lewis Hamilton less than two years after suffering a crash in the F4 British Championships at Donnington which resulted in him having his legs amputated. Monger returned to racing in November 2017 and has since raced in British Formula 3. After collecting his award to the backdrop of 50 plus team members Monger said: “First of all I've got to say a massive thank you for this award.
