How F1 plans to level the playing field in 2021

Liberty Media are attempting to level the playing field in Formula 1 by forcing teams to share their findings as they begin to research and develop ideas for the shift in regulations set to be introduced in 2021, according to the sport's motorsport director Ross Brawn. Alterations in power unit regulations, aerodynamic designs and the introduction of a cost cap are all planned to be brought in as Liberty look to breathe new life in the coming years. A collection of teams have been tasked with developing the machinery to be used from 2021 and beyond, with testing restrictions completely lifted for those concepts.
