Grosjean almost had huge career change

Romain Grosjean has had a controversial and bizarre Formula One career and he’s revealed he almost became a chef after being released by Renault in 2010. In January 2010 Renault team boss Eric Boullier broke the news to Grosjean that he had been replaced by Vitaly Petroc for the upcoming season after many considered him to be arrogant despite claiming to try to be modest. “I tried to be modest as a rookie, but I was told that I was" arrogant "or" had a big ego,” Grosjean said in an interview with the official F1 podcast. “Then on the 31st of January 2010 I got a call from Eric saying they had said Petrov so I was out.
