Verstappen slams F1 stewards: "Penalties were all over place in 2018"

Max Verstappen has described Formula One's penalty system as too inconsistent in 2018, after numerous incidents involving the Dutchman. Verstappen was given his fair share of penalties last season. In Monza, one of his more memorable penalties came around - when he clashed with Valtteri Bottas - and the 21-year-old was asked if he still disagreed with the five-second penalty: "For me, to be honest, I think it was still unfair because I did leaving him a car's width," the Dutchman told RaceFans.
