FIA confirms 2019 F1 calendar
The FIA has confirmed Formula 1's 2019 calendar The FIA has formally approved Formula 1's 2019 season calendar following a meeting of the World Motor Sport Council on Wednesday. During the meeting the WMSC made a number of decisions across the motorsport spectrum, among them the approval of F1's calendar. It will see the year start in Melbourne in mid-Marck and run until December 1 with Abu Dhabi again set to host the final event of the campaign. Aside from avoiding triple-header weekends after teams expressed concerns at the workload they generated in 2018, the calendar is largely unchanged from 2018.
