Initial feedback regarding 2019 tyres 'positive' - Pirelli

Formula One teams have reacted "positively" to the 2019 tyre compounds at first glance, according to Pirelli Motorsport boss Mario Isola. A post-season test in Abu Dhabi that lasted two days, concluding on Wednesday, gave the drivers and the teams a first chance to try out the new compounds for the 2019 season. Charles Leclerc had his first run out in a Ferrari since the announcement that he'll be at Scuderia next season, and he finished with the quickest time over the two days - with a 1:36.450 on the new Hypersofts (AKA Compound 5).
