Monger targets spot in F1 feeder series

Billy Monger is targeting a spot on the Formula 1 tour in 2019 with a  drive in the FIA's newly formed Formula 3 after completing a Halo extraction test over the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend. Monger still needs to secure sponsorship if he is to get a drive in the F1 feeder series. Monger has completed a remarkable return to racing since both his legs were partially amputated following a horrific crash in a British Formula 4 race at Donington Park in April 2017. The British teenager raced in British F3 last year, securing a podium on his first race back at Oulton Park and finishing sixth in the championship.
