Sergey Sirotkin confirms F1 departure

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – Williams' Sergey Sirotkin has confirmed he will not be in Formula 1 in 2019. 2018 Williams' driver Sergey Sirotkin will not race in F1 next year. Having joined the team for the 2018 season, both he and Lance Stroll have been replaced for next year. Mercedes young driver George Russell will drive one of the cars, while former BMW & Renault driver Robert Kubica has been confirmed in the second seat. While Lance Stroll is widely believed to be a foregone conclusion in the second Force India alongside Sergio Perez, Sergey Sirotkin has been left without any options.
