'Kubica seals Williams seat with 10m backing'

Robert Kubica has reportedly secured a €10million sponsorship package which will confirm his spot on the 2019 Formula 1 grid with Williams. Autosport has reported that Kubica has accepted a 2019 race deal with Williams, while RMF has claimed that he will bring a financial package to Grove with him. It was reported in Kubica's native Poland earlier this week that he had signed a 2019 deal with Williams, having served as the team's test and reserve driver this season. Kubica was overlooked in favour of Sergey Sirotkin, but the Russian's struggles have seen Williams look elsewhere.
