Toro Rosso miss out on Albon?

Alexander Albon's rumoured switch to Toro Rosso was thrown into doubt after he was named in Nissan's confirmed line-up for the 2018-19 Formula E season. It had been recently claimed that Toro Rosso would confirm Albon as Daniil Kvyat's 2019 partner in Abu Dhabi. Brendon Hartley has been widely expected to lose his race seat after an underwhelming campaign in which he has been largely outperformed by the Red Bull-bound Pierre Gasly. The New Zealander has scored in Azerbaijan, Germany and the USA this season, but only Sergey Sirotkinhas fewer points to his name.
