Wolff: Lewis did not criticise the nation

Mercedes chief Toto Wolff has come out in support of his under-fire superstar driver Lewis Hamilton after the Briton got himself into a spot of hot water for comments about India's poverty as a background to the grand prix in the country which hosted three Formula 1 races from 2011 to 2013. In an interview with BBC, Hamilton said, 'I've been to India before to a race which was strange because India was such a poor place yet we had this massive, beautiful grand prix track made in the middle of nowhere.
