Honda announce turbo development plans

Honda have revealed plans to develp their turbo, with the Japanese manufacturer agreeing a new technology partnership with fellow Japanese country IHI. Honda will be partnering up with Red Bull Racing for next season; and the engine supplier have announced a new deal with IHI. Katsuhide Moriyama, chief officer at Honda: "We expect this partnership to produce a notable step up in performance. Together, we will keep pushing to fight for wins." The deal is two years long and the first components from IHI will arrive as part of Honda's new 2019 engine.
