Gasly; Q3 is a great achievement

Pierre Gasly produced a brilliant performance to reach Q3 in changeable conditions at the Brazilian Grand Prix, and will start ninth after Daniel Ricciardo’s grid penalty. Gasly, who replaces Ricciardo at Red Bull next season, is in his penultimate race for Toro Rosso before making the big move to the senior team. He is only two points behind his fellow Frenchman Romain Grosjean in the drivers’ standings and will start two places behind the Haas driver. If Gasly were to score more points than Grosjean in the final two races and finish above him, it would be a fantastic achievement considering Grosjean’s experience and the difference in the quality of the two cars.
