Marcus Ericsson 'Happy For The Whole Team' After Career-Best Qualifying

In what is set to be his penultimate Formula One appearance, Marcus Ericsson has qualified a career-best seventh for the 2018 Brazilian Grand Prix. Ericsson was yet to best his ninth place starting position from the 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix but will start from sixth at Interlagos once Daniel Ricciardo takes his grid penalty. As well as starting from the much sought after best-of-the-rest position, Ericsson out-qualified his much-lauded team-mate Charles Leclerc by less than two-tenths of a second. “It was a great day for us as a team, with both cars at the top of the midfield – a super performance,' said Ericsson.
