Ocon hit with five-place grid drop

Esteban Ocon will start five places back from wherever he qualifies for the Brazilian Grand Prix after taking a fresh gearbox. The Frenchman has had a trouble-free weekend inside the car but the grid penalty will hurt nonetheless. Due to the change taking place before the gearbox managed six events as per the rules, Ocon will take the penalty which could hurt Force India's chances of beating McLaren in the constructor standings. “Both sessions were straightforward for me,” he said. “The target is definitely to reach Q3”. Force India is 11 points behind McLaren in the championship table.
