Interlagos FP2: Bottas slightly ahead of Hamilton and Vettel

Mercedes topped the timing screens at the end of day one of the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend, with Valtteri Bottas three-thousandth of a second faster than teammate Lewis Hamilton in the afternoon session in which Nico Hulkenberg crashed his Renault. Bottas' best lap of 1:08.846 was enough but only just, as his teammate, Hamilton was very close in the sister car as was Sebastian Vettel in the Ferrari, third quickest and only seven-hundredths of a second shy of the top time.
