Steiner: Welcome Pietro Fittipaldi to Haas F1 Team
Haas F1 Team has confirmed Pietro Fittipaldi as its official 2019 test driver. As part of his relationship with the team, the Miami-born Brazilian will test a Formula One car for the first time when he participates at the Pirelli tire test Nov. 27 at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. The 22-year-old, a grandson of two-time FIA Formula One World Champion and double Indianapolis 500 winner Emerson Fittipaldi, will become an integral part of Haas F1 Team fulfilling testing duties in support of the team’s 2019 driver lineup of Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen.
