Leclerc happy with seventh after 'demanding race' in Mexico

Charles Leclerc secured his joint second best result of his short Formula One career as he finished seventh at the Mexican Grand Prix. It was the Monegasque driver’s first race at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez and had a strong weekend throughout after reaching Q3 on Saturday before following it up with a points finish on Sunday. “It was a good race and I am happy with my result, a P7, which is my second-best result so far in Formula One.” Tyres were a major talking point all weekend in Mexico and Leclerc admitted it was “challenging” to manage them throughout the race. “It was challenging to manage the tyres and the race was quite demanding in that respect.” The seventh...
