Hamilton's Formula 1 career in numbers

Lewis Hamilton won his fifth Formula 1 World Championship at the Mexican Grand Prix on Sunday and the following details the Mercedes driver’s career to date in numbers: 1 – Hamilton’s first race was in Australia on March 18, 2007, with McLaren. He finished third. 5 – The number of F1 championships won. In 2008 with McLaren and 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018 with Mercedes. 11 – Most wins in a single season (in 2014) 16 – Successive podium finishes (2014/15) 22 – Hamilton’s age when he made his debut. 23 – Hamilton became the youngest ever world champion at 23 years and 301 days in 2008.
