Sainz Believes Renault ‘In Better Place' After Qualifying Eighth in Mexico
Carlos Sainz Jr. is pleased to see Renault Sport Formula One Team have found ‘a bit more performance' as he managed to qualify eighth for the Mexican Grand Prix. The Spaniard described the session at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez as “a very good qualifying” as both Renault cars reached Q3 with team-mate Nico Hülkenberg starting a place higher in seventh. “It was a very good qualifying for the team today,' reflected the Spaniard. “We’ve confirmed we’re in a better place than in previous races and we’ve found a bit more performance in the car, so we can be happy with that.” Renault have looked good all weekend with a strong Friday showing but Sainz admitted he...
