Verstappen Fastest In Final Practice in Mexico, Bottas Suffers Hydraulics Failure
Aston Martin Red Bull Racing‘s Max Verstappen once again topped the time sheets in final practice ahead of qualifying ahead of the Mexican Grand Prix. The Dutch driver set the fastest times in all sessions on Friday and repeated the pace once again in Free Practice 3, with a 1m16.284. The session started out on intermediate tyres after rain showers overnight halted running ahead of qualifying. The cars began to head out on dry tyres at the half way stage of the session. Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsport suffered a mixed session with Lewis Hamilton going second fastest. But Valtteri Bottas ended his session early after a hydraulics failure ended his session.
