Force India confirms Perez for F1 2019

Sergio Perez will continue to drive for Force India in the 2019 Formula 1 season, having penned an extension to remain with the revitalised team next year.  Perez revealed at the Belgian Grand Prix he had already agreed a contract for next season and confirmation of the deal was confirmed by Force India on Thursday ahead of the United States Grand Prix.  The Mexican, who currently occupies seventh place in the 2018 drivers’ standings on 53 points, will extend his stint at Force India into a seventh campaign.
