Sirotkin: COTA one of the best tracks
Sergey Sirotkin will be more than hopeful of a positive weekend in America this weekend as he battles to keep his seat in Formula One past his debut season. Sirotkin has had a poor first year in the sport, albeit in a dog of a Williams car, scoring just one point, back at the Italian grand Prix in May. F2 championship leader George Russell was announced recently as the first of Williams’ drivers for the 2019 season and Sirotkin will be desperate to earn a contract extension to grab one of the two open seats on the grid, with the other being at Toro Rosso. The Russian has never raced at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas but believes it is one of the best tracks on the F1...
