Lauda can leave intensive care soon!

Mercedes advisor and F1 legend Niki Lauda will be able to leave the intensive care wing of his hospital soon, OE24.at has has reported, as the Austrian is deemed fit to move to a clinic in a few weeks' time. The 69-year-old needed a lung transplant after collapsing during his summer holiday in Ibiza this July. He was in critical condition for a long time, but after the transplant, he seems to be recovering. After a transplant, especially at Lauda's age, the body always needs to be monitored for some time, in case the body rejects the new organ.
