Dillmann joins NIO Formula E team alongside Turvey

NIO announced that Tom Dillmann will race alongside Oliver Turvey in the 2018/19 Formula E season at the launch of its Gen2 car. NIO announced last week that Luca Filippi would be departing from the team after a difficult season in which he scored just one point. It has now been confirmed that he will be replaced by Dillmann. The former Formula V8 3.5 champion has made multiple appearances in Formula E with Venturi, competing for half a season in 2017 before being replaced by Edoardo Mortara for the following season. He scored his career-best finish of fourth during the New York season four finale while standing in for Mortara, which he also did for the Berlin round as the Swiss-Italian...
