Vettel believes P9 is "undeserved"

Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel claims his ninth placed finish in qualifying was "not the position we deserved". Vettel believes himself and Ferrari both deserved better after the wrong choice of tyre ended his hopes of a pole finish in Japan. Both Ferraris started Q3 on intermediate tyres but then they were caught out by the drying track which meant their rivals could set times. The rain returned shortly after, messing their dry-tyre runs up - but Vettel's team-mate Kimi Raikkonen managed to qualify in P4.
