Ricciardo talks up fight with Ferrari ahead of Japanese GP

Daniel Ricciardo has made his predictions ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix that Red Bull will be able to take the fight to Ferrari. The Australian said that although Mercedes might be out of reach, recent form suggests that the red cars might be a realistic target for the team. Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes have built up a gap in both championships ahead of their rivals in Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari respectively. Since the summer break, Ferrari looks to be further away from Mercedes than before with an improved Red Bull capable of an upset. In his preview ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix, Ricciardo admitted he was hoping that the team would be able to get amongst the front runners....
