Vettel disagrees with decision to resurface part of starting grid

Sebastian Vettel has spoken out against the decision to resurface part of the starting grid for 2018. The front of the grid has been resurfaced since last season with positions one and two on the new surface. Although part of his P3 grid spot is also on the new surface, Vettel says that the decision to not resurface the whole of the grid is an unfair decision. “I don’t know, I thought P3 is also just in range. If not that’s not good,” he said after qualifying. “I think the resurfacing should be a bit higher. I think it’s wrong to resurface just a bit, whether it is in positions 1-2-3, or 4-5-6, or 8-9-10. “If you resurface something on the grid,...
