Abiteboul reacts to Verstappen comments

Max Verstappen has been rather outspoken regarding his comments about Red Bull’s engine supplier Renault in recent times, whether it’s a swear fuelled rant after his retirement at the Hungarian Grand Prix or an indirect comment like he made the other day. But now, Renault boss Cyril Abiteboul has hit back after the latest dig the Dutchman has taken at the French manufacturer. Verstappen was unhappy that the C-spec power unit parts would be unable to deal with the altitude in Mexico and Brazil, which is the reason Red Bull have returned to the B-spec components for the final six races of the season.
