Haas garage fire damages Kevin Magnussen's Russian GP tyres

Kevin Magnussen has lost two sets of tyres following a small garage fire in the Haas garage on Thursday night, ahead of this weekend's Russian Grand Prix. Smoke coming from the garage alerted a security guard who raised the alarm. The fire is believed to have been caused by a faulty tyre blanket, with the fire spreading to a second set of tyres before it was eventually extinguished. The two sets of tyres are no longer in a useable state and Haas submitted a request to the FIA to have them replaced.
